A bit more detail on the plan for Aug 23, 24, 25:
Still plan to leave Gold’s Gym Parking lot at 8:30am on Friday. Plan to stop in Gunnison for coffee & bathrooms, probably at McDonald’s, Plan to get lunch in Buena Vista before driving Weston Pass.
Plan to leave the Hand Hotel in Fairplay at 8:30am on Saturday. Bring the usual snacks, water, full tank of gas but expect to find a place for lunch in the unincorporated town of Jefferson after driving Georgia Pass. Return to Fairplay by way of Boreas Pass, passing thru part of Breckenridge.
Plan to leave Hand Hotel about 8:30am on Sunday. West of Poncha Springs we plan to turn right up & over Taylor Mountain, returning to US 50 still east of Monarch Pass.
Again, bring the usuals but expect to stop for lunch along the way, probably on top of Monarch Pass.

Plan to run Boalm Pass west to east; from Highway 145 to US550. Leaving from South City Market; bring all the usuals, lunch, water, snacks and a full tank of gas.
Rick A. will lead a full moon trip over Cinnamon Pass to dinner in Lake City. Plan to meet at La Zona Colona at 9:00 AM (leave around 9:30 AM). Air down in Silverton. Take Stoney Pass to Creede. Have dinner there at Kips Grill (or in Lake City at Packer Saloon & Cannibal Grill if we are running early, bypassing Creede). Take CO 149 over Spring Creek & Slumgullion Passes to Lake San Cristobal to Cinnamon Pass (bypassing Lake City if we are running late). Admire Full Cinnamon Moon (this means you, Lisa). Drive to Animas Forks and on to home.
Steve W. will lead this clean up. Meet at South City Market at 9:00am. Bring lunch, water and trash bags; also have a full tank of gas.
Leave South City Market by 9:00 AM.
Take Kinikin to P77 to Cimarron to Owl Creek to Ouray. End with ¼ mile hike to Snake Pit.
VP Eddie P. will lead a club trail clean up of Tabeguache. Meet at North (Old) City Market at 9am. Bring lunch, water and trash bags. Have a full tank of gas.
Steve W. will lead this run. Plan to meet at North (Old) City Market at 8:00am. Bring lunch, water, snacks etc and have a full tank of gas.
Plan on leaving La Zona Colona by 8:30 AM Saturday, October 12th (be there around 8:00 AM for coffee, donuts, burritos and sign up) and get this done. Bring your best ice picks, shovels, etc. As always, bring lunch, water, snacks, and a full tank of gas. Gloves might also be in order.
Meet at Exit 2 to I70 at 9:00am. At Exit 2, go south over the Interstate and the group will meet in the area near to pit toilets. Bring lunch, water, snacks – this may be a long day. Have a full tank of gas. If coming from a distance, consider refueling in Fruita. If going down on Friday and camping, call Linnea (970-209-7757) so she can let you know where they will be camped.
Plans for Death Valley are as follows:
Leave Montrose Sat Nov 2; arrive Death Valley NP Sunday Nov 3. Three days there – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Plan to carry lunch, water, snacks, etc each day. Meeting time and specific trails to be determined.
Leave for home on Thursday Nov 7.
